Wally Moyers
With over 30 years of professional practice, Wally has engineered and performed on hundreds of albums, many of which had their roots in Studio 84. Wally and his wife LaTronda own Studio 84 and Moyers Sound Solutions (an AVL design build firm).
Before founding Studio 84, Wally was co-owner of Broadway Studios in Lubbock. During his time there, he produced albums by such well-known artists as Ritchie McDonald of Lonestar and Terry McBride of McBride and the Ride.
Established artists continue to seek out Wally’s expertise, such as Delbert McClinton, Marshall Ball, Don Wise, Kenny Maines of the Maines Brothers Band and many more.
Wally is internationally known as an accomplished pedal steel player. He has produced a 10-video instructional series on pedal steel that is highly popular worldwide.
For over 20 years, Wally served on the advisory board of the Sound Technology Department at South Plains College and currently serves on the advisory board of the Crossroads of Music at the Southwest Collection at Texas Tech University. His responsibility to these schools and to the clients he works with is to stay informed of the latest advances in technology and to advise them of the same.
