Jon comes to Studio 84 as an accomplished musician, whether he realizes it or not.

Born in Longview, TX, Jon now calls Lubbock his home and works as Studio 84's Audio Production Manager. Jon has been a "music enthusiast" (his words) since his days in high school where he learned to play guitar. He played in various groups as he grew and now serves as the lead guitarist and vocalist for the group Pearl Merchant.

His wife, Laney, is also a member of the group and they serve as the host band for Paradigm, the Thursday night college worship for First Baptist Lubbock.

Before working for Studio 84, Jon was an installer with our sister company, Moyers Sound Solutions. He and Laney have a strapping young son named Jude who apparently loves music as much as his parents.

Jon brings a musician's real world experience and a great ear to our staff as well as a great personality. We are pleased he is part of Studio 84 and you will enjoy working with him in the studio.
