Joe Mullins
Joe has been involved in video production since the tender age of 12 when he edited with two VHS decks and a TI 99/4A (ever heard of that?). This early introduction in the art of video has led to a lifelong pursuit of excellence in video production.
Eight years later, Joe found himself co-producing the original Red Raider Sports Weekly for FOX34 in Lubbock, TX. The show held the #1 rating in their time slot for their entire 3-year run. During this time, Joe also worked with Philip Payne producing commercials and garnered 5 Addy Awards. This led to work with the local ABC affiliate in Lubbock as a photo journalist. The honors continued to accumulate as Joe earned three AP awards for his work at Channel 28.
Joe relocated to Knoxville, TN to work with a church media department. During his time there, he continued to work as a freelance video producer, doing post-production series work for clients including the Discovery Channel, A&E Network and the Fine Living Network.
Joe once again lives in Lubbock with his wife Robyn and daughter Macy. His eye for creative editing and motion graphics are an excellent addition to the overall talents and capabilities of Studio 84.
